How exciting I really feel I teach in a very easy way to follow.
Jut keep your grandauthers picture and blow it up to the size you want to sculpt than use the deviders to measure the features you will be surprised how you wil be able to do it .
I woul duse a 24 mm eye for your full size sculpt.
My babies are diefferent sizes I love making the 9" un to the 22 " Babies .
And yes the 17 " baby should take 4 LBs of clay

Thank you. I've ordered supplies from them and they are very good. I'm really looking forward to watching your technique and trying it out. I'm hoping to make a baby that looks something like my youngest grand daughter and this should really help. What size eyes do you use in a full size baby? How big is the baby on average? I think your babies were about 17" long that I was looking at earlier. (They are beautiful!) Does one that size take the 4 or 5 pounds of clay?

We had a wonderful evening with Pat Moulton. She was our first guest speaker, but surely not our last. We had 59 active questions and answers in the thirty minutes she was on the air. We had 2,800 hits on the forum for the day she was on. I will leave it on the forum as long as you are still reading it. Our next guest is Mark Dennis on the 6th of April. He should be a great hit too. I feel like the forum is going to be a great asset to the doll makers of America.

Hi Debbie when sculpting your nose be sure to bring it out far enough on the face and turn you sculpt so you can see the side view .]
When I add the nose to my sculpts I add a bit of clay under the eye scokets and across the face this will hold up the nose so it will not be flat
