I am back from the beginner/advanced seminar in Cincinnati. I had a terrific time. We made quite challenging dolls. It was my first experince with a large doll as I work with miniatures. I learned all kind of tips and tricks watching Jack sculpt. Some information is priceless. I really enjoyed sculpting hands. It was fun. You would be amazed what Jack can do with shoes. So many details! Jack has sculpted a witch. She was full of character: scary and ugly, and still good natured. You should have seen all the cool old wrinkles he put on her. I would definately recommend this seminar to everybody who is learning the sculpting steps and the doll making process. It was also a pleasure to meet Jack in person. He is a very interesting, down to earth person. Thank you, Jack, for taking your time and flying all the way to KY to teach your class.

Hi, Anna,
I took Jack's workshop here in Cincinnati in 2003 (hard to belive it was that long ago). It was my first experience sculpting a doll and its was an excellent way to start. It made me think, "Hey, I can do this!" Each time he returns to the area, I am tempted to take the class again. I figure with ever doll you make, you learn something, and it was a lot of fun too. He is coming back in April...hmmm...
