Sixth Annual ProSculpt Scholarship Award Contest

We are proud to announce the winners of the sixth annual ProSculpt scholarship award contest.

Response to the ProSculpt contest for 2004 was excellent. We have included the top seven nominees of which three have won the first, second and third place. The other four have been awarded Honorable Mention.

The first place dollmaker will receive a $1200 scholarship to attend the professional dollmakers seminar in North Salt Lake. The second place dollmaker will receive a $450 scholarship to attend an advanced seminar held at one of numerous locations across the country. The third place dollmaker will receive a $450 scholarship to attend a beginning seminar at his or her choice of locations.

The sixth annual ProSculpt contest will be opening January 1, 2004 and will close on July 31, 2004. To enter the contest, simply sculpt an original doll of ProSculpt clay and send a 4x5" photograph to:

Winners of the 2004 ProSculpt Scholarship Award

Phil Cuthbert, 1st place for 'Hagrid'

HagridPhil wins a $1200 scholarship to be used at the 2004 Professional Dollmakers Seminar at the new Johnston Academy of Art Dolls in North Salt Lake City, Utah. After graduating from the course, he will be invited to attend the Doll & Teddy Bear Expo held each year in August in Washington D.C. and the Doll & Teddy Bear IDEX show in Orlando, Florida in January. These are the nation's two largest doll and teddy bear shows. There will be an article about Phil and his wonderful creations in an upcoming Contemporary Doll Collectors magazine.
