Fourth Annual ProSculpt Scholarship Award Contest
We are proud to announce the winners of the fourth annual ProSculpt scholarship award contest.
Response to the ProSculpt contest for 2002 was excellent. We have included the top six nominees of which three have won the first, second and third place. The other three have been awarded Honorable Mention. The Fifth Annual contest is mentioned below. The first place dollmaker will receive a $1200 scholarship to attend the professional dollmakers seminar in North Salt Lake. The second place dollmaker will receive a $450 scholarship to attend an advanced seminar held at one of numerous locations across the country. The third place dollmaker will receive a $450 scholarship to attend a beginning seminar at his or her choice of locations.
The fifth annual ProSculpt contest will be opening January 1, 2003 and will close on July 31, 2003. To enter the contest, simply sculpt an original doll of ProSculpt clay and send a 4x5" photograph to:

Winners from the 2002 ProSculpt Scholarship Mark Dennis, 1st place for 'Pygmalion' Mark wins a $1200 scholarship to be used at the 2002 Professional Dollmakers Seminar at the new Johnston Academy of Art Dolls in North Salt Lake City, Utah. After graduating from the course, he will be invited to attend the Toy Fair in New York City in February, 2003. There will be an article about Mark and his wonderful creations in an upcomming Contemporary Doll Collectors magazine.

Jean Ignatz, 2nd place for 'Snow White Ballet' Jean wins a $450 scholarship award to be used toward an Advanced Johnston Dollmakers Seminar at a location of her choice. Jean is a member of the Professional Doll Makers Art Guild and has shown her work at the Toy Fair in New York City.
