Shoes, Boots, and feet armatures

These accessories are made to fit the Johnston body armature. It is the same scale as the heads and hands. All parts are made to fit an eighteen inch tall doll, but will work on other dolls from 16-20 inches depending on your needs.

These cowboy boots were sculpted by Jack Johnston and reproduced in resin. They are pre-drilled to fit directly to our pre-made wire armatures and wooden bases. They are the same scale as our hands, heads and bodies. (Unpainted)

These boots are exactly like the ones above, but they are hand painted by Jack and Jared Johnston.

The Elf boots are made to fit an Elf from 16-20 inches tall. An Elf can have large feet if you like, so it is possible to even put them on a 15 inch doll. The stockings are not included, but can be purchased from this online catalog (Accessories section).

The Elf boots may be purchased as painted or un-painted. They may be painted with enamel spray paint, acrylic paint, or Genisis heat cured paint.

Santa Boots imageSanta Boots
The Santa boot was sculpted by Jack Johnston to fit a 16-18 inch doll. Just like the cowboy and the elf boots they are made with holes through them so the body armature will fit. They are also made to fit the wooden base with the brass tubes and rods shown in this catalog. The boots are made of black resin, so they do not have to be painted, but can if you want to antique them.

Male foot or shoe armature imageMale foot or shoe armature
This resin foot or shoe armature is made of resin. It fits perfectly on a 16-20 inch doll. The difference in the size is the amount of clay you put on the armature. It has a hole drilled all the way through the leg so it will fit the body armature and the wooden base. Like the female foot below you will see the instructions of how to make the show over the armature in our book "Artdolls". You may see this book and others in the "Books" section of this web site.

This high heeled boot of shoe armature is made just like the ones above with the exception that it has the high heel. It also fits the body armature and the wooden base. You may see how to put a shoe over this armature in our book "Artdoll" shown in the section marked "Books" of this website.

This tennis shoe is made to fit an 18 inch doll. Like all of the feet and boots, etc. it is made to fit on the body armature. It will also fit on the wooden base. The socks and laces are sold seperately (you may find them in the Accessories section of this catalog)

Tennis shoes (unpainted)
The tennis shoe may be purchased as an unpainted set of shoes. The artist may then paint them in any color to match their doll. They are drilled to fit the body armature and the wooden base.

The wooden bases with brass name plates are made to fit doll from miniature to 24 inches tall. They come with brass tubes and rods to install them to the body armature. You will also receive a photograph and writen diagram as to how they work.
